Grandma’s truly are a gift from God. The love they have for their grandchildren is never ending.
And God said, let there be Grandma who has ears that always listen, arms that hug and hold, love that’s never ending and a heart that’s made of gold.
Grandma’s are always there for us. They support us, nurture us, cheer us, encourage us and discipline us. And thank God for all those roles that a Grandma plays.
Grandma’s have a huge impact on your life, and not just when you are young. If you are blessed to have your Grandmother into your adult life, then you are truly, truly blessed.
Not only do you learn powerful child life lessons from a Grandma, but you also gain from her wisdom and strength of character as an adult. Her wisdom is invaluable.
Always be grateful for your Grandma and the time you’ve share with her. One day, when she is gone, you will dearly miss her.
As I was in my forties when my Grandmother died, I remember the day very vividly. And I remember thinking that our lives would never be the same.
And I was right. Her passing changed the dynamic for every individual family member and our overall familial dynamic was changed.
I can remember always feeling secure that my Grandmother prayed for me. And because if knew, without a doubt, that she prayed and supported me, it gave me confidence and security in my everyday life.
I feel very blessed to have known her, to have learned from her, and to have been loved by her.
