Most females fantasize of their wedding day their entire lives. The wedding dress, the bridesmaids’ matching outfits, and the photographer who will take pictures deserving of the best Instagram captions must all be picture-perfect on that particular day.

Allie Livingwater, a young woman, was not an exception. Most brides-to-be have an image of what their dream wedding gown should look like.

Allie has known what her wedding gown will look like since she and her significant other first started talking about getting married because she had previously seen it at her grandmother’s wedding.

She has always been close to her grandmother. Before Allie was even born, the family really moved in with the grandma so that she wouldn’t have to live alone when her grandfather passed away.

Not only was it an opportunity for this bride to pay tribute to her beloved grandma, who meant the world to Ally, but it was also a way for her to feel more connected to her late grandpa.

The grandmother never imagined that anybody else would ever wear her outfit, so she kept it preserved in a rubbish bag. She was so overcome with emotion when she saw her granddaughter and was unable to stop the tears of delight from streaming down her cheeks.

Allie even posted side by side photos of herself and her beloved grandma on their wedding days.
